Week 2 was played on 2/6 at Kenwood MS.
Here's the good, bad and ugly.
Good - all the teams had equal participation. This could be the first time in quite a few years that we've had a perfect day of games. Thanks to all the coaches! It's been a great year given the momumental non-basketball challenges this year. We welcome 2 new 34th teams from Shapokee this week. This makes the league 13 teams, only 2 short of our all time record.
Bad - still working on perfecting the spectator checkin process. Seemed to go OK and thanks to Andrew from South for leading that effort. It is much easier if everyone can provide their spectator lists.
Ugly - we had our first player with a positive Covid-19 result which caused the cancellation of the last game of the day. However, I want to thank the parents and coaches of the team to be proactive and get tested before arriving at that school. This saved us any spread to others and provides the scheduling challenges that were always expected.
2/13 is a split site weekend - 34th is at Kenwood and 56th is at Eagle Ridge MS in Savage. Ryan from BAC will be in overseeing the 56th games. Note that the entrance for the Eagle Ridge gym are the doors on the lower level or South West corner of the school.
