Tackle 2022

Tackle football will be offered for grades 3 - 8. All grade levels will be playing 11 on 11 tackle football with various communities depending on grade level.

Tackle Football starts 8 Aug 2022 with Equipment Day. There will be no weekend activity before Labor Day. Hence, you can expect practice Monday - Thursday during August. Week night games start the week of 23 Aug. The season will be done by 16 October at the latest.

The 8th grade team does have a scrimmage 20 August in Bloomington

After Labor Day, games are every weekend with week night game sprinkled in. There are no Wednesday practices or games after Labor Day.

BAC Youth Football will provide

• Helmet
• Shoulder pads
• Game jersey

Players will need to provide the following equipment on their own:

• Cleats
• Black football game pants (Games start mid August)
• Practice pants
  • ​Players can use their game pants.
• Practice jersey
• Pads for their pants
  • ​Some pants come with the necessary padding included and integrated (hip pads (2), tailbone pad, thigh pads (2), knee pads (2)
  • Other padding systems like football girdles are allowed
• Protective cup
